Local law enforcement are looking for a small tan or beige passenger car involved in a hit-and-run rear-end collision near 1204 South Lincoln in Knoxville Tuesday afternoon.  After this story aired/was posted a witness has come forward who believes that the vehicle being sought is likely a Chevrolet Lumina. Officer Eric Orr with Knoxville Police Department says the vehicle was reported swerving and moving erratically, going from the Melcher-Dallas turn-off onto South Lincoln. Orr says there were no injuries reported in the accident, but the light brown car which fled the scene should have significant front-end damage, with the bumper hanging off. He says residents with any information on the vehicle should contact law enforcement immediately.
