At least 11 Marion County veterans are going on an honor flight today to Washington D.C. The flight, sponsored by Casey’s general Stores, takes the veterans to the nation’s capital to see war monuments. Longtime Knoxville resident Teresa Lucas tells KNIA/KRLS News that its really special to see her father, a WWII veteran, partake in the special experience.
