Central College was a key contributor to Pella’s annual CROP Hunger Walk on October 4th. 672 Central students donated their campus dining service meals on September 30th, the total cost of which amounted to over $5,500 to be donated to the CROP Hunger Walk.

Central College’s Athletic Trainers club also provided water to the roughly 200 walkers who collected donations to help stop hunger and poverty in the local community and worldwide. One hundred percent of the donations go toward hunger relief, a quarter of which benefit the Pella Community Food Shelf and A Call to Serve Ministries.
