The newest building at Central College was dedicated during a brief ceremony inside the facility on Friday morning. Central College President David Roe and Chairman of the Board David Wesselink both thanked donors and supporters who made the building a reality and praised the structure’s many eco-friendly features. Already a pioneer in the state in “green” buildings, Central is hoping the newest addition to campus can earn Iowa’s first platinum rating for an energy efficient building.
