The Central College football plays two of their final three games of the regular season on the road, starting today at Loras College in Dubuque. The Duhawks have developed a reputation for their running game, and Central Coach Jeff McMartin says an early lead for the Dutch could certainly play to their benefit.

“They want to run the football, and they have a great offensive line that’s built to do what they want to do,” said McMartin. “They’ve gotten behind in a couple of games and had some turnovers, and that’s made them have to throw the ball. Because of that, they’ve given up some sacks and made a couple of mistakes in the passing game, and that’s gotten them into where they didn’t want to be in those games.”

Central goes into the Rock Bowl ranked seventh after a 35-17 win over Luther and are 7-0 overall. You can hear the game live on 92.1 fm KRLS and streamed online at kniakrls.com with Trevor Castle providing the call. Coverage begins at 12:45 p.m., with kickoff between Central and Loras at 1:00 p.m.
