Andrew Townsend shot a 1-over-par 72 as the Central College men’s golf team opened play in Georgia yesterday. Competing in the 36-hole Oglethorpe Royal Lakes Fall Classic at the par-71 Royal Lakes Golf Course, Central is in a field that includes five of the nation’s top eight ranked Division III squads. The Dutch stand 13th out of 16 teams at 306. The tourney concludes today wrapping up Central’s fall season.
