Deer Safety During Autumn

Its autumn, deer are on the move. Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat says the deer are in their mating stage around this time, and farmers are harvesting their crops, both which are pushing deer across the land—and roadways—more than during the summer. He urges drivers to slow down and use caution, especially around dawn and dusk, when deer are the most active.
