Central College has jumped two spots to number 6 in the American Football Coaches Association Division III poll while the Dutch moved up to No. 7 in the D3football.com top 25. Central was a 35-17 winner over Luther College in an Iowa Conference game at Pella Saturday. And moved to 7-0 on the season and 5-0 in the Iowa Conference. It’s Central’s highest ranking since also being tagged 6th in the AFCA postseason poll in 2007 after climbing to as high as No. 3 that season. The Dutch travel to Dubuque Saturday to take on Loras College in a 1 p.m. league game.
