Mid-October may seem early for many high school seniors, but now is the time for students planning to attend college to be applying to those institutions – if they haven’t already. Crumley adds that many colleges offer scholarships with deadlines in January, so applications should be in by Christmas; and emphasizes that applications show interest, but don’t mean a commitment to a school.
