The Knoxville boys will run in the state cross country meet for the first time since 2006 this Saturday. The Panthers finished third in Monday’s class 3A District in Knoxville. Coach Mike Moats credits his team’s work ethic as a part of the reason why they are headed to Fort Dodge this weekend. Moats also credited Timothy Shepherd as he has steadily improved his time from the beginning of the season. Jamie VanderVeer earned all Districts with a fourth place finish on Monday. The three-A boys race will begin start at 12-30…girls runner Allisa VanKlootwyk will run at noon.
