The 2010 census is coming up this spring, and Marion County has one of the best records in the country of residents sending in their census forms. Kelly Campbell with the U.S. Census Bureau says the county returned over 76% of its census questionnaires in 2000, and Iowa itself sends back forms more than any other state. In March residents will get the 10-question forms, which Campbell says takes about 10 minutes to fill out. The results of the 2010 census will determine the number of seats Iowa gets in the U.S. House of Representatives starting in 2012.
