4-H Week in Iowa runs through Saturday, and Marion County’s Youth Coordinator says it’s a big recruitment push for the organization. Kim Davis tells KNIA/KRLS News that leaders in the county’s 16 traditional and specialty clubs are encouraged to hold activities this week to spark interest. 4-H members also plan to visit county schools’ 4th grade classes to talk to students about joining the organization. Davis says the group increased its membership 2% in the past year.
