City Council and Mayoral elections are next Tuesday in Marion County, and the polls in Knoxville, Pella, Pleasantville and Bussey open at 7 a.m. that day, while polls for Melcher-Dallas open at 12 p.m.

It was a great day for the Pella Christian cross country runners at the Class 2A District/Regional meet an Nodaway Valley yesterday as the boys team finished second to qualify for this Saturday’s Class 2A state meet and the girls had two runners qualify for state as individuals.
