A North Dakota-based farm implement company has announced plans to acquire two local dealerships. Titan Machinery, Incorporated announced Wednesday plans to acquire the assets of the Pella Implement and Oskaloosa Implement dealerships.

Titan is based in Fargo, North Dakota, and was founded in 1980. The Company owns and operates one of the largest networks of full service agricultural and construction equipment stores in North America, and primarily represents the Case IH and New Holland Agriculture brands.

The addition of the Pella and Oskaloosa locations would give Titan Machinery 70 total dealerships spread out across seven Midwest and plains states. The deal is expected to be closed on November 1, 2009.
