Conditions will still be soggy, but the Pella Christian cross country teams are feeling confident going into today’s District Meet, which had been originally scheduled for last Thursday. Pella Christian Head Coach Jocilyn Meinders says the Eagles will face some stiff competition at today’s meet.

“PCM is in our district, and they’re always really tough. They always come out really strong at districts and do really well,” said Meinders. “East Marshall and North Polk are also both ranked in 2-A, so we know they’re gonna be tough. So there’s definitely some tough teams in our district, it’s alright. They guys are peaking right now, and the girls team right now is running their best; so they’re ready to go out and show everyone what they can do.”

Also joining Pella Christian and PCM at the District Meet in Nodaway Valley, will be Pleasantville, with the event starting at 3:30 p.m. today.
