Marion County Public Health will offer an H1N1 flu-shot clinic in Pella this weekend for high-priority residents. Public Health spokesperson Diane Ellis says this includes pregnant women, those who care for children younger than six months old, children ages six months through four years of age, those five to eighteen years old with chronic medical conditions, and health care personnel with direct contact to any of these priority groups.

Ellis also adds that there will not be any restrooms outside for those waiting for the vaccinations, and the weather is expected to be chilly, so patients should prepare themselves and their children accordingly. Marion County Public Health staff members are prepared to ensure the clinic will run as efficiently and smoothly as possible. The H1N1 flu vaccination clinic will be held Saturday morning in the Pella High School Cafeteria from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or until the vaccines run out.
