A community presentation on the difficult topic of “Dying Well” will be featured Thursday night in Pella. Hospice of Pella at Pella Regional Health Center is hosting “Healing While Dying: Dying Well, Dying with Dignity,” which aims to answer the question, “Is there such a thing as a ‘good’ death?”

Internal Medicine Doctor David Daining of Pella will present what qualities are needed to promote a good death, and a small panel of community members will discuss their experiences. The free program will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday night at the Vermeer Pavillion in Pella.
