Earlier this week, a Fargo, North Dakota-based company announced plans to acquire two local agricultural implement dealerships. Titan Machinery CEO David Meyer tells KNIA/KRLS News that he sees real value being invested into the local community with the planned acquisition of the Pella and Oskaloosa Implement dealerships – which was announced Wednesday – and plans to invest in employees, facilities, tools and
equipment in both locations.

Meyer adds that Titan Machinery is the top dealer worldwide of Case IH products, and will look to continue that success in Pella and Oskaloosa, while still offering additional products to meet customer needs.

“There is strong heritage of CaseIH equipment in this area and we plan on building on the current foundation of excellent employees to meet the needs of our customers with a full product offering of CaseIH agricultural equipment and select shortlines,” said Meyer.

The acquisition is expected to be finalized on November 1, 2009.
