Marion County Health Officials say the first wave of H1N1 is subsiding, although a second surge is expected in January or February – just in time for the seasonal flu’s expected rise in numbers. Public Health Director Kim Dorn says the next public H1N1 clinic will be December 19th at Third Church in Pella from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and there is no cost for the vaccination. Dorn adds separate closed clinics will be held for individual school districts.
