Central College is fourth as the NCAA Division III West Region football rankings were reshuffled. The Dutch debuted at No. 2 last week in the rankings which are used to determine seedings for the NCAA Division III playoffs. Pairings will be announced for the field Sunday, Nov. 15, with first-round games set for Nov. 21. Central, 9-0, has clinched a playoff berth but must travel to Waverly Saturday to battle preseason Iowa Conference favorite Wartburg College in a bid to claim an outright league title. St. John’s jumped from third to first in the West Region while Wisconsin.-Whitewater climbed from 4th to 2nd. Last week’s leader, Linfield is 3rd and Iowa Conference rival Coe, who’s 7-1, is 7th.
