America Recycles Day is this Sunday, and in honor of the event, a group of students at Central College will be conducting a “trash audit” Friday. During the audit, students will sort out recyclable items and weigh them to determine what portion of the garbage was actually recyclable. Jennifer Neeland, one of the students who will be conducting the “trash audit” says that the activity is meant to promote awareness of recycling. America Recycles Day has been celebrated on November 15th for the past 12 years.
