For the first time, the Central College women’s cross country team has cracked the USTFCCCA Division III national rankings. The Dutch, who qualified as a team for the NCAA Divsion III national meet for the first time since winning the NCAA title in 1981, debut in 29th. Central earlier jumped from No. 8 to No. 4 in the Central Region rankings after placing fourth in the Central Regional meet at Oakland Acres Saturday. Central is competing at the NCAA meet at Cleveland, Ohio Saturday at 10 a.m. (Iowa time.
