A corn bin exploded at a farm in far western Marion County shortly after midnight Monday, with no injuries. Officials on scene told KNIA/KRLS News the blast, which sent corn grain and sheets of metal flying at 111 Nixon Street, might have been caused by a gas leak in the bin. Foul play isn’t suspected. Melcher-Dallas Fire and Rescue and Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson responded to the scene.
