Over $13,000 was raised at the fourth annual Knoxville Hospital & Clinics Foundation Gala. Hospital Spokeswoman Katrina Nelson says the funds will be used to help purchase new patient beds for the medical/surgical department at the hospital. She adds this year’s recipient of the McKeever Award of Excellence was Dr. Ted Eller, who has been actively involved in the Knoxville community for almost 60 years. The award is named after longtime hospital physician, Dr. Earl McKeever.
