Every year the goal for the Melcher-Dallas boy’s basketball program is to win the Bluegrass Conference. Coach Jim Wells says he puts more emphasis on the regular season title because it is a round robin format and not just three or four games in the tournament. Plus the better a team does in the regular season the better their seed is during the tournament. Wells says Moravia, Lamoni, and Multon-Udell should be a few of the teams to beat.
