The office staff at the Pella Chamber of Commerce will move into the new office this weekend, and the building is nearly ready for its new inhabitants. The flooring is down and trim and woodwork is in place. However, installation of some of the light fixtures and the completion of the Chamber board room in the lower level of the office are among the tasks to be completed.

The new office will feature several individual offices inside, along with a large open main room, which Pella Chamber Executive Director Karen Eischen says should be more “visitor-friendly.” There will also be more space for storage. The Pella Chamber will be moved out of its current location on Franklin Street and into the new office at 818 Washington by Monday.
