Coaches, players and parents gathered to celebrate Pella’s successful, record setting volleyball season last night at their season end banquet. Throughout the night stories and memories were shared from the season, and coaches recognized players for their efforts as well as the parents for their work and commitments to the program. There are three seniors on the team Jordyn Vandelune, Courtney Kelderman and Hannah Forsythe and Fessler commented on each one and their contributions to the team. It was also announced that Kelsi Rempe, Lindsay Bentzinger, Hali Steenhoek and Brooke Fessler each made the Class 3A Central All District team. Fessler was also named first team All State by the Des Moines Register and Steenhoek was named to the second team. The Iowa Girls Coaches Association All State selection will be made by the coaches tomorrow. Pella finished the season 39-6 overall and made their fourth straight State Tournament.
