Sports fans in Pella will be abuzz with conversations about postseason football Saturday.  The Pella High School Little Dutch face Harlan in the Class 3-A State Championship in Cedar Falls, while the Central College football team hosts Mary Hardin-Baylor in the first round of the Division III Playoffs.

Both games will be broadcasted live on 92.1 fm, KRLS.  First, Trevor Castle will be providing the call from Ron and Joyce Schipper Stadium at Central College at 11:30 a.m. for a noon kickoff.  That game will be followed by the Pella High School game at approximately 3:30 p.m., featuring Jamie Brockman with the play-by-play, and kick-off from the UNI Dome slated for shortly after 4:00 p.m.

A “Welcome Home” celebration and reception for the Little Dutch football team has been planned for 9:30 p.m. Saturday night in the Pella High School gymnasium.
