Central College announced the school’s 21st president last week. Dr. Mark Putnam will take office in July of 2010, following the retirement of current president, Dr. David Roe. Putnam is a senior vice president for executive affairs at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he has held a several leadership roles over the past ten years. The search for a new president started after Roe’s retirement announcement in February of last year.
