A plea of “not guilty” was entered Tuesday at the Marion County Courthouse by 39-year-old Quintin H. VanRheenen of Pella, who is charged with two counts of attempting to entice away a minor. VanRheenen has also waived his right to a speedy trial. No trial date has been set, though a pre-trial conference has been scheduled for December 15th at 9:30 a.m.

Quintin VanRheenen was charged with enticing away a minor following his arrest after an alleged incident on September 25, 2009. The second charge stemmed from an investigation into a previously alleged incident. The charge is an aggravated misdemeanor; which is punishable by imprisonment not to exceed two years and a fine not to exceed $6,250.
