Veterans in Marion County were recognized at a variety of events Wednesday.  Northstar Elementary honored past veterans and current soldiers in an event with singing, a presentation of posters, and readings.  The Knoxville and Pella Hy-Vee stores had free breakfasts for those who have served our country, while a cannon rededication on the square in Knoxville saw veterans recognized for their service.  Veterans at the Knoxville Community and Senior Center also shared their experience from a trip to Washington D.C.
