The Central men’s basketball team opened their west coast tournament last night with an impressive showing in a 99-75 win over Westminster. All five of the starters for the Dutch scored in double figures, led by senior guard Miguel Ley, who scored a game-high 19 points and added 8 assists. Central was up just 46-40 at the intermission, but opened the second half with a 22-8 scoring run and put the game away down the stretch. The Central men are now 9-2 overall and will face tournament host Westmont tonight, which is 8-2 after their win over Concordia last night.
