A professor of English at Central College will be the college’s final speaker for the fall 2009 Writers Reading Series. Keith Ratzlaf will read from a book of poetry written by him that was published last spring titled Then, A Thousand Crows.

Ratzlaff is also the author of Across the Known World and Man Under a Pear Tree, which gained national recognition, along with other published works; and his poems are known for the “rich detail, humility and irony.”

The final Writers Reading Series will be Thursday evening in the Geisler Library Reading Room at 7:30 p.m. The free event is open to the public.
