The Central College women’s basketball team played better last night, but the outcome was the same, as the Dutch dropped their second game in as many nights in Georgetown, Texas. Central was defeated 86-69 by Pitt-Greensburg, who had five players score in double figures and shot a scorching 51 percent from the floor. The Dutch shot a respectable 39 percent from the field, but were out-rebounded by Pitt-Greensburg 40-38.

Sophomore Aimee Delpierre came off the bench to lead the Central women in scoring with 15 points, and fellow sophomore AJ Baker picked up her first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Central is now 2-11 overall this season and will return to Pella to prepare for the University of Dubuque on January 6th.
