A twelve-point forth quarter effort was not enough for a team of some of the top players in Division III football to topple a team of Mexican collegiate athletes on Saturday, as Team Stars and Stripes fell to the Tec Monterrey All-Stars 24-12. Central College players Andy Kneib and Zach Van Arkel were among the players on the 52-man roster representing America in the Tazon de Estrellas, or “Bowl of the Stars.” Dutch co-defensive coordinator Don De Waard coached the defense for Team Stars and Stripes in the game, which was played in Mexico City. Also representing Central College were three members of the Dutch Athletic Training department.
