Former Iowa Governor and possible future gubernatorial candidate Terry Branstad was in Pella last Monday. Branstad toured Vermeer Corporation with Vermeer CEO Mary Andringa and other Vermeer employees. Branstad also met with other Pella residents about his possible bid for Governor. Branstad tells KNIA KRLS news that he is traveling the state meeting with business and manufacturing leaders to learn how they feel the state can be most helpful in creating a favorable business environment.
