When students in Pella High School’s Construction Trades class return from Christmas break, the interior of the Habitat for Humanity home they’ve been working on will look even more like it’s ready to live in. Course instructor Mark Goodrich says a professional has been painting the interior walls of the home, which is located at the intersection of Prairie and Oskaloosa Streets. Goodrich says when the students return from break, the next step is to begin hanging cabinets, which will feature a demonstration by local professional Dean Butler.
