The Knoxville City Council Monday will consider the first reading of an ordinance amending provisions pertaining to major contributing industry surcharge. The council will also consider the first reading and waiving the second and third readings pertaining to minors where beer is sold, among other issues. The city council’s bi-monthly meeting is Monday at 6:15 p.m. in city hall.
