This February, Knoxville Hospital & Clinics will be assuming management of the hospital’s emergency department physicians. Hospital spokeswoman Katrina Nelson says Knoxville Hospital & Clinics has had a contract with Acute Care, Inc. to staff the Emergency Department since 1998. She says Dr. Richard Bratkiewicz will serve as the Chief of Staff for the Emergency Department. Additional physicians will be announced soon.
