With the recent car theft in Knoxville and car-jacking in Johnston, Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says whenever you leave your car unattended, make sure to take the keys out of the ignition, and don’t leave valuables in plain view. Losada also says if you are going to warm up your car, make sure to lock it and open it with an extra set of keys.
