More furlough days are scheduled for the Marion County and state court system as the judicial branch tries to save money. County Clerk of Court Carol Sage says that the furlough days Thursday and December 31st mean the state offices on the third and fourth floors of the Marion County courthouse will be closed, with the rest of the courthouse open as usual. The courthouse will also be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
