The Next Chapter bookstore in Knoxville helped area residents send around 200 books in 5 full boxes to soldiers in Iraq. Manager Annie Leonard says residents bought new and used paperbacks, from westerns and romance to historical and classic works, and The Next Chapter sent those paperbacks to a battalion in Iraq. Tresa Mott, owner of The Next Chapter, tells KNIA/KRLS News books are in high demand for the troops during their less hectic times overseas, and helps maintain their connection to home.
