A vehicle with Wapello County plates driven by a woman was involved in a one vehicle accident that occurred at the Des Moines River bridge on the Marion County-Mahaska County line east of Knoxville on Highway 92. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies and Clay Township Rescue responded to the accident. The woman lost control of her vehicle in the middle of the bridge. She was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with non life-threatening injuries.  The identity of the woman has not been released.
