After enjoying a night off last night, the Pella Christian girls return to action tonight with a tough non conference home game against Class 1A 8th ranked Lynnville Sully. Pella Christian coach Kevin Van Maanen says the girls showed a lot of improvements in their win over South Tama Tuesday night, but there’s still improvements to be made. He says tonight will be a good test for his team because Lynnville Sully only lost one senior from last year’s team and returns a lot of experience. After tonight, the Eagles have three more games in the next week as they travel to Huxley Monday night to face defending Class 3A State champion Ballard, then return to Little Hawkeye Conference play at Knoxville Tuesday night and head to Oskaloosa Friday night. The JV girls game starts at 6:30pm tonight followed by the varsity girls game.
