With the holidays and the mixture of rain, ice, and snow Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says important for residents to take their time getting to and from the holiday destination. Losada also recommends holiday party hosts have non-alcoholic beverages to serve, and have a way for intoxicated guests to get home safely. Losada adds that the Police department will be fully staffed during the holiday, but the business office will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Christmas holiday.
