With New Year’s Day falling on a Friday, residents are reminded that they may need to take care of certain business earlier to avoid having to wait until next week. Among the services in Pella that will be closed on New Year’s Day are Pella City Hall, the Pella Community Center, the Pella Post Office and all financial institutions. The Pella Public Library and indoor swimming pool will also be closed on Friday.
