The city of Pella will test their outdoor warning system at noon Saturday. That’s according to Pella Police Department Communications Supervisor Marcia Slycord, who says the system is tested on the first Saturday of the month at noon. She reminds residents that it is an outdoor warning system and isn’t designed to be audible indoors. The city has eight warning sirens located in different parts of the community.
