Adopted Haitian Children Leave Port-au-Prince with Pella Family

The five Haitian orphans adopted by three families in Pella are on American soil. Tracy Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News that Matt and Mandy Poulter, who traveled to the U.S. Embassy in Haiti Monday, have gone through customs in Florida and are booking travel arrangements. Tracy and her husband Les Fuller have adopted a sister and brother, as have Dave and Andrea Vanderhoff of Pella, and the Poulters have a little girl.

The five children were among nine children at orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, that survived last week’s deadly earthquake and had been receiving supplies from a television news crew in the days that followed the disaster.
