More information has been released on a planned stop by former Governor Terry Branstad in Pella this month. As part of Branstad’s gubernatorial announcement tour, he will visit 17 Iowa cities in four days, with Pella announced as one of those cities last week.

Campaign representative Tim Albrecht told KNIA/KRLS News to expect a “comeback” theme to the campaign, adding that Governor Branstad has the leadership and experience to lead Iowa on its “comeback” on issues related to the economy, education, job creation, fiscal responsibility, and a balanced budget.

Albrecht says Branstad will make a stop at the Smokey Row Coffee House in downtown Pella at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19th. In related news, Pat Bertroche, a Republican candidate for Congress will greet the public at the Pella Pizza Ranch at 1:30 p.m. this Saturday.
