Central College’s Loren Liming has been named the Iowa Conference male athlete of the week. The 6’7” forward on the Central men’s basketball team averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a pair of victories for the Dutch over Cornell and Luther Colleges. Liming’s recognition marks the second time this season that a Central player has been tabbed for the Iowa Conference male athlete of the week honor. Guard Miguel Ley claimed the same recognition on December 13th.
